New Web Site Offers Online Tax Payments
The Pike County Revenue Commissioner's new web site offers citizens the ability to search, view and pay taxes online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, wherever you have internet access. You can use a debit or credit card to securely pay online via PayPal. A 2.25% convenience fee + $.30 transaction fee is added to your total taxes due. This fee is not charged by the Revenue Commissioner's office; it is charged by PayPal.


Deadline to Pay Taxes
In Pike County, AL, taxes are delinquent after December 31st. Penalities and interest begin accruing on January 1.


Important Dates to Remember

October 1---Real and Personal Property Taxes Due

January 1---Taxes are Delinquent . Payments made after this date will be charged a $5 deliquent fee and 12% interest. 

March---Court Notices Mailed

First Monday in April---Probate Court Hearings at 11:00 a.m.

First Tuesday in May---Advertising for Delinquent Taxes begins in Newspaper and Advertises for 3 consecutive Tuesdays.

June---Tax Sale on first Friday at 11:00 a.m.

Tax Sale Information
Each year, properties for which the taxes are not paid are auctioned off at a public sale at the County courthouse. The sale is held on the first Friday in June at 11:00 a.m. For more information about the Pike County Tax Sale, call the Revenue Commissioner's Office at (334) 566-1792.
